Liu Changli, Chairman of Forest Snow, is fully committed to his business. He explained the development trend of Forest Snow during the parallel forum at the Asia Pacific Snow Conference (APSC). 
Leveraging over a decade of practical experience, Seven Stars Snow and Water Park Equipment Co., LTD. was established in Guangzhou in 2016, which successfully shattered the conventional notion that water parks operate solely during summer seasons by integrating ice and snow with a water park. This innovative approach allows for repeatable use of the site, extends operating time, and presents new avenues for profit growth for customers. 
Furthermore, an emerging business system has been developed by incorporating solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies into indoor ice rink and ski resort projects. Energy Solutions for Indoor Ski Resorts

The Handan Kuanle Bay project mainly adopts the "solar thermal" energy system, which is the first large-scale indoor ski resort powered by new energy. It can provide more construction experience for social energy green transformation and have a positive demonstration effect on the entire indoor winter sports industry.
Combining the project: In the summer, it serves as an indoor snow playground. We break tradition by designing a cooling system that can be used throughout the year. In the summer, it can be used as a conventional air conditioner, and in the winter, it can provide low-temperature cooling and snowmaking for indoor winter sports.,It is the first case in China that adopts new technology and new process two-condition refrigeration technology and allows customers to avoid duplicative investment in air conditioning and low-temperature refrigeration. It also achieves the most energy-efficient operation based on actual operating conditions, which can be a breakthrough in refrigeration application.

Energy use

1.The system is divided into five parts: solar collector, heat transfer oil delivery, energy storage, standby energy, and cold-heat-ice supply system.
2. The entire system can adjust its operation according to the solar irradiation conditions through the central control system to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
3. The system fully utilizes solar energy to meet various needs of the project and achieves cold-heat-ice supply.

Indoor Ski Resort Energy Profile

As a large public building in the city, indoor ski resorts often follow the trend of snow slopes and present a streamlined space with a certain slope because of its own functional characteristics. The energy consumption of indoor ski resorts is relatively high.The scale of these spaces is vast, with longitudinal spans ranging from 200 m to 500 m and transverse spans exceeding 50 m, while heights range from 20 m-100 m. The energy consumption of indoor ski resorts is relatively high. Energy consumption is a fundamental component of indoor ski resort operations; all activities are closely linked to energy usage. Therefore, controlling energy consumption is crucial for cost management. Currently, electric energy remains the primary source of power for Chinese ski resorts.

Cold zone cooling (completely isolated from warm zone)

Snowmaking period: The indoor temperature in the entire space is maintained at -3~-5 ℃
Business hours: The indoor temperature in the entire space is maintained at -1~-3 ℃
Transportation: moving blankets, hanging boxes, etc.
Snowmaking: Chilled water/ice, compressed air
Lights: Use LED energy-saving lighting in very large spaces
